So here's the hard part folks. I believe in you you can do this, just don't screw it up, ok. How to measure for your kilt.
1. There's two ways to go about this. The easy way or the expensive way...
A. Someone takes the measurements, for you... or
B. You do it yourself
The A. person, Takes your fancy measuring tape and put it around your hips. Make sure you're Standing Tall, Feet Together. And measure from the top of your hips, where the pelvic hipbone is. Not to Tight, you wanna be comfortable in your kilt, yes. We do have amazing 2BE-Kilted kilt belts for you. Now that you have your hip measurement. 2nd part now, measure from the top of your hip bone to middle of your knee or just below it. Whatever your preference is on that.
Why your hips you ask, well men's hips don't fluctuate, like our counterparts but your bellies can. Maybe you've heard the saying "measure twice, cut once." That applies triple here...just replace 'cut' with 'buy'. Take our word for it. You want to save money, not spend more of it because of simple silly mistakes. Lets save you your valuable time and money, as well as ours, by not having to exchange your kilt for the right size.
If you're going to be the B. person. Repeat step one (Takes your fancy measuring tape and put it around your hips. Make sure you're Standing Tall, Feet Together. And measure from the top of your hips, where the pelvic hipbone is.) This time for part two, you'll be on your knees. Again measure from the top of the hip to your knees/floor.
HOW TO CARE FOR YOUR MODERN KILT
Washing your Kilt
Kilts are an amazing garment. Wash them cold or lukewarm, don't over wash them and best to hang dry them and if you like to keep them pleats crisp, iron the kilt while it's still damp.
